Want to know more about the Portfolio Process at SGE in our LI program?
You are in the right place!

ATTENTION PARENTS:
An AT HOME Portfolio Piece can be included in each student's portfolio. The AT HOME piece should be an example of your child's work. This is piece is YOUR CHOICE! It can be anything that is within 3 pages (or 3 minutes if it is a DVD). You, the parent, may also include a short paragraph to share any background information you want the review team to know about your child as they completed this AT HOME project on the TAG! (see below)
What do I need to do as a parent?
Parents have the option of submitting ONE portfolio sample of their child’s work.
Here are the guidelines:
● It may be 1-3 pages in length (front and back count as 2 pages)
● Entries must be two-dimensional and fit in a 9x12 manila folder; if not, a video or photograph can be submitted.
● If the entry is a photograph or a parent anecdote, the student must also attach a response.
● Each entry must have a Tag. Tag the entry by briefly explaining your child’s entry (what is it, why was it chosen, when was it completed/received, etc.)
● Provide a Student Reflection. Your child should explain the work, project, or award and share his/her thoughts and feelings about the experience.
Examples must be the student's own work. These entries may include (but are not limited to):
AT HOME portfolio submissions are due NOVEMBER 20, 2015 and MUST have a TAG (see below) attached!
